These taste like the festive season and are great to make with left over xmassy stuff. Dark chocolate and cranberries work so well and the orange zest just adds a little bit of magic to it! I havent put this on this recipe but you can add leftover nuts and other dry fruits that you have left over. Brownies is my favourite thing to make as yuu need no baking skills for it- just some imaginaton!
220g of butter or maragarine (or any other fat of your choice, but if you use rapeseed or cocnout oil it will affect the taste)
300g brown sugar
4 large eggs
50 grams of cocoa powder
250g buckwheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
100 dark chocolate cut into small pieces
zest of 1 orange
2 handfuls of cranberries or any other dry fruit of your choice
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celcius. Line a baking tin with baking paper. Put all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix together until it forms a smooth mixture. Pour the mixture onto the baking tray and place in the oven for about 30- 40 minutes. Take out the oven and let it cool and.... enjoy!!!
