Try this for a good nibbely dish on NYE with your friends!
10 Jerusalem artichokes, peeled and cut into chip shaped sizes
2 tbsp olive oil or infused olive oil
5 garlick cloves
1/2 lemon cut into chunks
A handful of rosemary
Herb salt to taste
Preheat the opven to 190 celcius degrees. Peel and cut the jerusalem artichokes into chip size and shaped pieces. Place in a large bowl and either steam or microwave for couple of minutes- they should still be hard when they come out. Let them cool slightly. Place the olive oil in the bowl together with the salt (about 1 tsp should be enough). Take garlic gloves, leave them unpeeled but crush the slioghtly with a knife. Then place them in the bowl and mix all the ingredients together. Make sure the artichokes are covered very thinly with the olive oil. Take a baking tray and pour the contents of the bowl onto the tray and spread evenly. Place the lemon on the tray as well and put in the oven. Rost for about 30-40 minutes until there is a light brown colour on the top. Depending on ovens, they might need a bit longer so keep an eye on them!
