Can anybody explain to me why after years and years of trying and failing, people still crash diet? It simply doesn't work - it is a sticking plaster, a short term fix but is NOT sustainable.
So if you are going to start 2016 with a resolution to get in shape and control your weight, then do it properly as a change to your lifestyle. There is nothing so true as the old saying that a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step. Changing your dietary habits will improve your wellbeing, weight, self consciousness and health. These are important so do it properly.
If you change your diet properly and sensibly, then it IS sustainable, you WILL see results but above all you will maintain the results without needing to stop your social life.
I believe in teaching people to understand foods. To empower them to appreciate which foods are healthy and which are not and why. This can be fun. You can learn new ways of shopping, learn to cook great meals for you and your family and above all, get healthy at the same time.
I do not offer fixed packages as each client's requirements are different. Everything I do from working with high performance altheles to obese children is bespoke. Some clients need a diet plan to achieve a particular aim, others need far more and want to learn to prepare healthy meals in their homes or even ask me to prepare shopping lists setting out precisely what they need.
It is not uncommon for a family or friends to decide to make a lifestyle change together - doing something in a group helps motivation, learning to cook together is fun and great for bonding as a family and you can be confident that you are giving your children the very best start for a healthy future.
