This is one of my favourite breakfasts - the combination of banana and melon in my opinion is an absolute winner! And when you add the tangy coco nibs to the mixture its even better!
To the recipe:
1 ripe banana
1 slice of melon, chopped
1 tbsp of date syrup or 1 date chopped finely
1 cup of almond milk
3 tbsp of frozen plain yogurt or normal plain yogurt
1tsp cinamon (optional)
2 tbsp of homemeade granola (get the recipe for mine in the blog archives)
1 tsp raw coco nibs
Peel the banana, chop to chunks and place in a smoothie maker or in an appropriate dish if using a handblender. Add the rest of the ingredients and blits until smooth. Its that easy! Pour into a large glass and place the granola and coconibs on the top. Enjoy cold!
